Gaughan arrives after taking a year out but manager Jonathan Rimmington was
trying all last season to persuade him to sign.
Gaughan (pictured) started his career as a professional at Rotherham United before falling out of
love with the game.
He
then went to play in New Zealand where he got his love back and played at a
very good level.
When
he jetted back to the UK he first went to Barnoldswick Town in the North West
Counties League where is performance got him a move to Colne in the Northern
Premier League Division One North West before his break last season following a
spell with Silsden.
Jordan
Porter has also signed for `Sedge.
Porter
won the FA Trophy with FC Halifax Town before having spells with Scarborough
Athletic and Spennymoor Town, and joins after winning the
NPL
Division One North West play-off final and recently captaining Brighouse Town.
