The 30-year-old began his career in his homeland at Lens B, scoring 3 times in 68 appearances.
He then moved to Spanish side Puertollano, making 24 appearances, scoring twice.
Gomis then transferred to his second Spanish side, Almeria B, scoring 2 times in 13 appearances.
He caught the eye of Southend United, moving to the then-League Two outfit in 2014.
Gomis then moved to Sutton United in later 2014, making 99 appearances and scoring 12 times.
Gomis helped to guide Sutton to promotion from the National League South in the 2015/16 season.
In their first season in the National League he was part of the side that reached the Fifth Round of the Emirates FA Cup, eventually getting knocked out by eventual winners Arsenal.
He moved north to join Barrow a year ago, playing 43 times, scoring 5 goals, and now makes the 375-mile trip south to sign for the Whites. |
