Defender
Nathan Stainfield, goalkeeper Jason White and midfielder Liam King have all
joined up.
Thirty-one-year-old
Stainfield has been a consistent performer since joining Northern Premier
League Premier Division club Gainsborough Trinity in the summer of 2017.
He
started out at Spalding United and then Boston Town before joining neighbours
Boston United in September 2011.
A
three-month spell in America followed in the summer of 2011, before he linked
up with the Pilgrims eight matches into the Conference North campaign.
He
re-joined Spalding in July 2013 and spent more four years with the Tulips
before joining Trinity.
White
was also previously with Gainsborough but is best known for his stint with
Scarborough Athletic after making 57 appearances for Mansfield Town.
He
twice won promotion with AFC Mansfield under Rudy Funk – initially from
Division One in 2016 before helping them in the NPL in 2018.
White
has also been with Liversedge and Newark`s league rivals Long Eaton United.
Experienced
midfielder Liam King has also signed for Flowserve.
The
32-year-old started his career with Rotherham United, where he came through the
ranks to make 7 first team appearances as well as spending a 16-game spell on
loan with Altrincham.
He
left the Millers in 2009 and signed for Matlock Town, where he spent four
years, making over 200 appearances and scoring 28 times.
Another
four-year stint followed at North Ferriby United, for whom he played 205 times
and scored 62 goals before following manager Billy Heath to FC Halifax Town in
2016.
He
made 30 appearances for the Shaymen, with 7 goals, before joining Northern
Premier League Premier Division side Gainsborouugh Trinity in 2017 as
player-coach.
He
had a stint in caretaker charge of Trinity in early 2019/20 after injury ruled
him out for a considerable time.
King (pictured) left Trinity in December 2019, having stepped up his bid to regain fitness
following a back injury that had threatened to end his playing career.
He
joined NPL Division One South East side Frickley Athletic in January 2020. |
