The central midfielder made 32 appearances for Heaton Stannington in 2019/20 before lockdown, scoring 9 goals.

Charmey signed for the Stannington in 2018, picking up the captaincy along the way.

He has lots of previous Northern League pedigree having played for the likes of Guisborough Town, Whitley Bay and Newton Aycliffe.

But perhaps his biggest achievement to date was being part of the French team who won the World Youth Cup in 2006, scoring a goal in the 3-0 victory over Sweden in the final.

The achievement came after impressing the national coaches whilst playing for Paris St Germain`s academy.
