Francis Leaves Albion Sports
John Francis has quit as manager of Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division club Albion Sports.

Francis, 56, took over from the long-serving Kulwinder Sandhu, who stepped down in July 2019 after an amazing 34 years in charge.

 

Francis played over 175 games in two spells for Burnley during the 1990s and also played for Sheffield United, Cambridge United, Halifax Town and Scunthorpe United among others.

 

He spent several years working for Burnley`s youth development set-up and has experience with student coaching programme RIASA.

 

Assistant manager Gurbinder Johal has also left.
