Monkhouse has signed Matty Nebard from Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division side Albion Sports.

Nebard was previously with West Yorkshire League Premier Division sides Pool and Beeston St Anthony's.

Monkhouse (pictured) said: “I`m delighted to bring Matty to the club. He`s a right back with good energy and quality on the ball. He`s been a captain at previous clubs so is a leader on and off the pitch.

“He had other offers but he`s excited to play for Pontefract and like everyone else, can`t wait to get started”.
