The Reds have won the race to sign the highly-sought-after Fishwick, who was subject of interest from many clubs.

The Reds’ faithful will recall the central defenders` spell at The TRICO Stadium at the end of last season, producing some mature and accomplished displays.

The former Leamington, Racing Club Warwick, Banbury United and Evesham United centre-back was on dual registration with Total Motion Midland League Premier Division sides Coleshill Town and Worcester City along with the Reds last season.

Davis told his club`s website: “During his spell with Redditch, he showed the capabilities needed to be a top centre-half. Tom has gained some excellent experience playing at this level and, despite his young years, that experience has allowed him to develop into an established player.”

Meanwhile, former Banbury striker Howards is proven at Southern League level, having scored 57 goals in 150 matches.

Howards came through the youth sides at Banbury, progressing to make a handful of first-team appearances prior to joining Abingdon Town in November 2013.

He re-joined Banbury in August 2014 and was a key part of the club’s Southern League South & West Division promotion-winning squad of 2015/16, scoring 17 goals.

After making 116 appearances for the Puritans, scoring a total of 41 goals, he left Banbury in September 2016 for Ardley United, scoring 24 goals in 38 appearances for the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side to the end of last season.

He returned to Banbury in the summer of 2017.

Davis said: “At 23, Leam has his best years ahead of him. I am delighted to have him onboard; he brings work-rate and goals on the pitch, while off the pitch he will be one of the characters in the dressing room. I expect good things from Leam, and I am sure he will turn out to be a fantastic signing”.
