Andrews, along with his coaching team of Phil Purvis, Neil Harper, Adam Watson and, more latterly, Kevin Hazeldine, was instrumental in getting the Bishops promotion to the Western League three seasons ago and has since established the club as a mid-table side in a highly competitive league.

Andrews stated that after five years in charge, he felt he had taken the team as far as he possibly could and that the close season was an ideal time to give the next manager a fighting chance of getting to know the existing players and adding his own players and stamp on the team.

Andrews stated that when you`re at a club for such a length of time, sometimes there just comes a point when you need a break to refresh your thinking.
