Mitch Clarke, John Letford, Alex Moore and Stephen Palmer have all put pen-to-paper for the Royals.

Defender Clarke, striker Letford and midfielder Moore all join from the very successful Wolverhampton Sporting side that won the West Midlands (Regional) League and promotion to the Total Motion Midland League Premier Division and worked closely with Sutton Coldfield`s first-team coach Steve Hinks last season.

Palmer, meanwhile, returns to the club from former tenants and now Midland League Premier outfit, Romulus.

He lists Castle Vale, Cadbury Athletic, Alvechurch, Kettering Town and Rugby Town amongst his other previous clubs.

Manager Neil Tooth told the club`s website: “The signings we are making really excite me and we are putting together a very good squad of players. Mitch, John and Alex are all stepping up a couple of leagues, but they are all more than capable of playing this level and the level above. We are really happy to get all three on board and with Steve having worked with them before hopefully the transition for them has been an easy one.

“I have also added Stephen Palmer to the squad. As I`ve said before because we are literally starting from scratch it was important we signed some players who as well as being good enough also have an affinity to the club and Palms is another like Jordan Nadat that covers both.

“So far I've been delighted with the standards and fitness levels of the lads but it’s games we need so we can have a real look and then we can start dropping more technical aspects into the training sessions so we are really looking forward to Saturday's game against Paget Rangers”.
