The 27-year-old is a much-travelled campaigner who finished the truncated 2019/20 season with NPL Premier Division side Stafford Rangers.

Grayson returns to Frickley for a third spell, having signed for Rangers in November 2019 from Buxton after a period on loan at Marston Road.

He is Doncaster born and played for his home-town club Rovers, going on to make one appearance in the first team before joining Frickley for the first time in the summer of 2011 where he spent one season before a year at Matlock Town.

In the summer of 2013 he moved to Sweden, playing for third tier outfit Ange IF, where his 24 goals helped secure promotion before a short spell in Australia with Cumberland FC.

He spent the 2014/15 season at Stocksbridge Park Steels before moving to the Philippines and an impressive stint with top-flight side Loyola before returning to Frickley.

He had a stunning season in 2016/17, scoring 28 goals in 42 appearances for Buxton, but he moved to Mickleover Sports in the summer of 2017 before returning to the Silverlands in January 2018.
