The 29-year-old striker signed for Vanarama National League North side Spennymoor Town at the beginning of July 2018 on a three-year deal but was released at the end of the 2019/20 season.

He started out at York City in 2008 and made a quick impact, winning an England C cap in a 4-0 win over Malta in February 2009.

He was also a member of the York squad that played in the FA Trophy Final that year and made a total of 38 appearances for the Minstermen, scoring 3 times before joining Scunthorpe United in the summer of 2009, reportedly for a six-figure fee.

Goal-laden spells with Boston United, Barrow AFC, Guiseley AFC and Bradford Park Avenue followed as he established himself as one of non-League football’s most prolific strikers.
