Player-manager Craig Davis has brought in Reece Rusher and Connor Cocklin from Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier runners-up Andover Town, and four from other Wessex League sides in Brad Gale from Verwood Town, Jake Rawkins from Bemerton Heath Harlequins, Matt Andrews from Bosham and Ty Mitford from Team Solent.

Rusher is a right-sided midfielder who returns to City for a second spell, having also served Bemerton Heath Harlequins and Salisbury FC.

Cocklin is a defender originally on the books at AFC Bournemouth and since with Gosport Borough, Wimborne Town and Andover.

Central midfielder Gale was formerly on the books of Poole Town and Hamworthy United, and actually played a couple of times for City last season on dual registration with Verwood.

Rawkins is a forward who joins from Bemerton Heath Harlequins and was previously with Gosport.

Andrews is also a forward who spent the latter part of last season with Bosham after being with Fareham.

He also numbers Folland Sports amongst his former clubs.

Striker Mitford was released by Queens Park Rangers in May 2015 after playing for their under-18s.

He was a key cog in the Team Solent side that reached the Buildbase FA Vase Fifth Round and the final of the Southampton Senior Cup at St Mary’s in 2016/17 before joining Alresford Town and then back to Team Solent.

He has also been on the books at Gosport.

Joining Davis in re-signing from last season`s squad are Harvey Clark, Callum Kitcher, Josh Harfield, Danny King, Oli Bailey, Ben Sunley, Josh Tombs, Josh Corner, Ryan Pryce, Jamie Barron, Rob Carr and Joe Hayward.

Davis is also expected to add another of his former Fleet Town players, Simba Mlambo to that list.
