Spencer joined the Lions from Bradford Park Avenue in the summer and made 23 appearances, striking 6 goals, after missing a chunk of the campaign through injury.

The 22-year-old initially joined Park Avenue on loan from Huddersfield Town in March 2017, before making the switch permanent the following summer.

Prior to joining the Avenue, he had been a regular for Huddersfield’s under-23 set up, and previously captained the under-18s.

A combative central midfielder, he is equally comfortable anywhere across the defensive line.

Despite being offered a second year at Nethermoor the central midfielder has opted to join the Moors
