....impressive new signings ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
Defenders Alex Morris, Adam Hohn and Mitch Tomlinson, midfielders Lee Chilton, Sean Geddes and Bobby Moseley and forwards Jak Jeys, Luke Barlone and Ryan Richmond have all put pen-to-paper for the Leicestershire outfit.
Morris joins from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League side Mickleover Sports.
Morris is a tall, left-footed centre-back who had spells with Hednesford Town and Chasetown.
He joined Hinckley AFC in September 2014 and was voted as the players’ player of the year at the end of an impressive first season in 2014/15 but left around Christmas the following season.
He re-united with Hinckley in the summer of 2017 and then move up a couple of levels to join Mickleover in September 2017.
Hohn arrives from league rivals and neighbours Shepshed Dynamo.
He previously played Northern Premier League football for Loughborough Dynamo before spending the last three seasons with Shepshed.
Tomlinson joins from Midland League Division One side Hinckley AFC where he played under Abbott and is a former young player of the year.
Abbott`s most experienced recruits are midfield duo Lee Chilton and Sean Geddes.
Chilton is a 31-year-old who has been with Alvechurch, AFC Telford United, Hinckley United, Willenhall Town, Stourbridge, Halesowen Town and, most notably, Leamington, where he spent five seasons.
More recently he has been with league rivals Sporting Khalsa.
Geddes, 26, shot to internet fame when his spectacular ‘rabona’ goal for Worcester City went viral worldwide in 2014.
The same season saw Geddes score two goals against Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena as Worcester knocked the Sky Blues out of the FA Cup.
A former Manchester United youth player who was a young professional at Walsall, he also played for Stourbridge and Market Drayton Town, although it will be his two spells with Worcester where he will perhaps be best remembered.
Moseley arrives from Midland League Division One outfit Paget Rangers.
The former Stoke City youngster, who spent time on loan in the USA with San Antonio, joined Paget in January 2018.
Moseley, who represented the Republic of Ireland at under-16, 17 and under-19 level, has also served Coventry United, Sutton Coldfield Town, Southport, Solihull Moors and Gloucester City.
Jak Jeys arrives from Sporting Khalsa, who he joined in January 2018.
He numbers Rushall Olympic, Highgate United, Bedworth United and Stamford AFC amongst his other clubs.
Abbott has brought in Luke Barlone from league rivals Coventry United.
Barlone signed for United in March 2018 from Highgate.
The vastly experienced striker has lined up for the likes of Bedworth United, Redditch United and Barwell in a long a successful non-League career.
He is also no stranger to the Midland Premier Division, having completed a loan spell at newly-promoted Coleshill Town before switching to Highgate.
Ryan Richmond signs from Vanarama National League North side Nuneaton Borough after his contract at Liberty Way came to an end.
He is a known to Abbott, who took him on loan at Market Drayton whilst in charge of the Shropshire outfit last season.
