McDonald Makes Double Pics Signing

Forward Ben Lund has arrived from Total Motion Midland League Premier Division neighbours Walsall Wood, whilst defender Jimmy O’Neill checks in from Southern League East outfit Chasetown where he had a solid campaign last term.

Lund numbers Lichfield City and Alvechurch amongst his other former clubs and Pics` boss Liam McDonald was impressed with what he saw of his new signing last season.

“Ben will be one of the quickest players in the League this season,” McDonald told https://www.rofc.co.uk. “We saw what he was all about in the Walsall Senior Cup Final at the end of last season; he really caught the eye that night and we are delighted to have him on board.

“He’ll make the step up in level no problem and I am excited to be able to work closely with him.

“Jimmy is a big, strong lad who is a left-sided central defender or left-back. He’s good in the air, versatile and is a young lad who wants to progress and develop”.
