Fenmen Bring in Prolific Marksman
Northern Premier League Division One South East club Wisbech Town have signed striker Avelino Vieira from Southern League Premier Division Central side Peterborough Sports.

The 32-year-old Portuguese forward first came to prominence with Blackstones in the Uhlsport United Counties League before moving to Peterborough Northern Star in 2010.

 

His career continued an upwards curve with spells at St.Ives Town, Kettering Town and Corby Town before returning to his home-town team Peterborough Sports in the summer of 2015 and scored an incredible 57 goals in 57 games in the trophy-laden 2015/16 season and over 50 as well the following year in the United Counties League.

 

He helped Sports through two promotions and establish themselves at Step 3 level.
