Sports enjoyed a terrific first season at Step 3 level and were top of the table in 2019/20 before lockdown.

Dean has brought in midfielder Dan Jarvis (pictured) from Southern Division One Central neighbours Yaxley.

He had joined the Cuckoos in early January 2020 from Uhlsport United Counties League Premier Division side Deeping Rangers.

He had been Deeping`s player of the year for 2018/19 and made 40 appearances.

He played for Peterborough United from the age of 8 and became a full-time scholar.

His other former clubs include Biggleswade Town and Barton Rovers.

Returning to Sports is striker Jordan Macleod.

He left Lincoln Road to sign for Southern Premier Division Central side AFC Rushden & Diamonds in October 2019.

However, he switched to Northern Premier League Division One South East outfit Wisbech Town in February 2020 after being unable to find a regular spot with Diamonds.

He dual registered with Deeping Rangers where he had scored 20 goals in 16 games.

He also played for Peterborough Northern Star earlier in his career.

Centre-half Brad McGowan joins Sports from NPL Premier Division side Grantham Town, where he was in his second spell.

He started his career with Notts County before making his first move to the Gingerbreads after being released by the Magpies in the summer of 2015.

He stepped up a division with Alfreton Town in December 2015 and joined Boston United on an initial month's loan in August 2017 before making the move permanent in mid-September.

He had an eventful first month with the Pilgrims and scored twice and picked up a red card.

He signed a contract until the end of the 2017/18 campaign upon joining United on a more permanent basis and then joined Frickley Athletic in July 2018.

He re-joined Grantham in November 2019.
