Joining
on a permanent basis is centre-back Harry Higginson (pictured), who has been an important
asset for the Rouslers over the last two seasons, having had multiple spells on
loan from Vanarama National League North neighbours Kidderminster Harriers.
Higginson,
who turns 20 later this month, progressed through Kidderminster`s academy.
While
predominantly a left-sided central defender, he is also comfortable at
left-back, his versatility and work-rate being huge assets to the group.
He
made his senior debut against AFC Telford United in January 2019 and shortly
afterwards, signed his first pro contract with Harriers until the end of last season.
Sporting
manager Brendan Kelly has added another defender in Josh Ezewele from league
rivals Stourbridge.
The
23-year-old signed for the Glassboys in October 2019 from another league rival,
Alvechurch.
He
is a product of the West Bromwich Albion youth and academy system where he
played for the under-18 and under-21 sides.
In
July 2016 he signed a one-year contract with then-League Two side Yeovil Town
but featured only once for the senior side in a Checkatrade Trophy match
against Reading under-23's in November 2016.
He
joined Kidderminster Harriers on a month's loan in January 2017 and at the end
of the loan spell in February the move was made permanent.
In
June 2017 he agreed a deal with National Leaguers AFC Fylde. However, with his
opportunities limited as the season wore on, he subsequently joined Redditch
United on a month's loan in February 2018.
He
was released by the Coasters at the end of the 2017/18 season and he then
signed for Alvechurch in the summer of 2018, featuring regularly in their push
to earn a play-off place last season.
He
made 19 appearances for the Glassboys in 2019/20 before COVID-19 struck. |
