Forward
Kyle Diskin and midfielder Ricky Bridge have both re-signed for Grove.
Diskin (pictured),
28, returns after departing in November 2019 to join the Bears, following
manager Ryan Austin to Booth Street.
He
had originally joined Grove from Newcastle Town back in January 2017.
He
was also in his second stint with Congleton having also served Norton United
and Witton Albion.
Bridge,
a former Manchester City and Port Vale junior, has also plied his trade with
Leek Town, Newcastle Town, Chester FC and Chasetown.
Kidsgrove
have also confirmed that Oliver Jepson has moved in the opposite direction to
Congleton.
Jepson
had re-signed registration forms for the 2020/21 season but the offer that came
in from the Bears was too good for him to turn down.
The
defender scored 3 goals last season including a fantastic strike from near the
half-way line against Stoke City under-23s in the Staffordshire FA Senior Cup
in what turned out to be the final home game of the 2019/20 season. The strike
also went onto win the goal of the season award. |
