....League Central club King's Lynn Town have signed another defender in Rory McAuley.
The centre-back arrives at The Walks on a two-year deal from new league rivals Lowestoft Town.
Twenty-eight-year-old McAuley made 81 appearances, scoring 6 goals for the Trawlerboys..
He came through the Cambridge United youth system before making more than 140 appearances for the U`s senior side.
Injury curtailed his time with the U's but he moved on to play a starring role for both Dartford and Chelmsford City in the National League before signing for Lowestoft in the summer of 2016.
New Linnets manager Simon Clark told https://www.kltown.co.uk/: "Rory is a great leader and he will also bring experience to the team. He will be fantastic for Ryan Fryatt as will Lee Beevers.
"He has played at a higher level, is a great age and still remains hungry. He has the right DNA as a defender and hates conceding goals.
"We've got some great defenders at this football club who won't concede goals easily and who are willing to put their heads on the line". |
