The players who have re-signed for 2020/21 are Reece Lucas, Tyler Walker, Steve Garner, Chris Simpkins (pictured), James Arnold, Sisquo Blake, Billy Ball, Craig Aspinall, Jordan Snodin, Josh Dodd, Josh Bowkett, Harry Brown, Adam Lee, Adam Baskerville, Tyler Williams and Kieran Baskerville whilst Josh Gibbons, Ryan Poskitt and Jordan Linley have all also committed to stay with the club and forward Paul Sherburn returns after leaving part way through last season.

The new faces brought in are goalkeeper Richard Watson, who joins from Swallownest, midfielder Sean Dickinson from Ollerton Town and Lee McFadan.

Manager Carmody told https://www.armthorpewelfare.teamexpert.co.uk: “Firstly I would like to say that I hope everyone is safe and well after what has been a really difficult period worldwide. This time has brought home how lucky we are to have our families and friends safe and well. It has also given us chance to show what is important to us all.

“This club is all about loyalty and working together to improve together. I really believe these traits are now coming to the fore within the club.

“I am delighted to say that the core of last season’s squad can visualise our goals and have committed to the cause for the new season whenever that may begin. The group of players I have at the club are all a credit to themselves and it’s clear they want to be here.

“We’ve also added a few very welcome additions which will only make us stronger. I can’t single anyone out as I believe we are all part of one big team effort”.
