Defender Moves to League Rivals

Isthmian League South East club Hastings United have announced the signing of defender Jack Steventon for the 2020/21 season.

Steventon, a tall, powerful and technical defender, joins Hastings from league rivals VCD Athletic, for whom he made 38 appearances and chipped in with 4 goals in 2019/20 ahead of lockdown.

He was previously with Aveley and Walthamstow.

Manager Chris Agutter told http://www.hastingsunited.com: “I am delighted to bring Stevo to the club. He is a great character and a perfect fit for the dressing room, when you couple this with his physicality, presence and qualities on the ball it makes him an excellent addition to the ‘U’s”.
