The
experienced centre-back started his career with Hull City, where he made a
couple of League appearances.
He
went on to have spells with York City, Harrogate Town, Gainsborough Trinity,
North Ferriby United, where he enjoyed plenty of success in his 128
appearances, including being a member of the squad that won promotion to the Vanarama
National League North in 2013 and won the Buildbase FA Trophy in 2015.
He
has since been at Scarborough Athletic, Brigg Town and Bridlington Town.
Also
joining Barton is gifted midfielder Luke Hornsey.
Originally
with Scunthorpe United, the 26-year-old has also played for Frickley Athletic, Brigg
Town and Lincoln United.
Barton
have also welcomed Grant Tait to the Easy Buy Stadium for the 2020/21 season.
The
midfielder previously plied his trade in the Humber Premier League with Chalk
Lane.
