The younger brother of former Birmingham City and Norwich City striker Cameron Jerome, he joined Ramsbottom in the summer of 2019 after a second spell with Toolstation Northern Counties East League side AFC Emley.

He appeared in 27 games for Rammy in 2019/20 before lockdown, scoring 13 goals.

Jerome, who can play on the wing or as a centre-forward, previously had spells with Warrington Town, Brighouse Town and Southport.

Jerome joins Workington`s earlier signing, forward Louis Potts, who recently left SkyBet Championship side Preston North End’s academy.

Potts, 18, can play in a variety of positions across the front line and was a prominent member of Preston’s youth set-up last season.

The Salford-raised teenager had been with the Lilywhites from under-14 level and proved to be a goalscorer at every stage since.
