Marah (pictured) is a 20-year-old former Southend United academy striker who joins the Magpies after spending part of last season with Isthmian League Premier Division side East Thurrock United.

He has also had loan spells with Harlow Town and Aveley.

Putnam moves to Victory Park following spells with North West Counties League sides Eccleshall and Hanley Town, as well as NPL Division One South East outfit Newcastle Town.

The 18-year-old winger was part of the Staffordshire Schools FA under-18 squad last season.

Manager Jamie Vermiglio told https://www.chorleyfc.com: “The signings of Sewa and Oliver underline the type of players were trying to bring into the club with an eye on progressions via the Player Pathway. Talented youngsters coming to us from other clubs and academies, mixed with players who’ve developed from the beginning of our own system; creating a competitive environment which allows young players to improve and challenge for first team spots”.
