Waide Fairhurst, Alex Varley, Richard Patterson, Rhys Meynell, Ryan Carroll, Iren Wilson, Rhys Davies, Anton Foster and Liam Royles have all put pen-to-paper for the Sheffield-based outfit.

Experienced striker Fairhurst re-signed for Handsworth in September 2019 after a brief spell with NCEL Premier Division rivals Maltby Main and then quickly switched to Barton Town a month later.

Well-travelled Fairhurst (pictured) is a versatile attacker, capable of playing anywhere along the front line and has previously been with Doncaster Rovers, Torquay United, Macclesfield Town, Lincoln City, FC Halifax Town, Boston United, Frickley Athletic, Goole AFC and Brighouse Town.

The 31-year-old joined Northern Premier League Division One South East side Sheffield FC in March 2018 and then signed for the Ambers in 2018/19, scoring 11 goals in 24 appearances.

Fairhurst will also be taking on the role of club captain.

Varley numbers Goole AFC, Parkgate FC, Sheffield FC, Handsworth and Shirebrook Town amongst his former clubs.

Midfielder Patterson has been on the books at Goole AFC, Clipstone, Staveley Miners Welfare, Thackley, Parkgate, Ossett Town, Shaw Lane, Frickley Athletic and Stocksbridge Park Steels.

Meynell, 31, arrives from Nostell Miners Welfare and has experience in the Vanamara National North with Harrogate Town, Stalybridge Celtic, AFC Telford United, Chester and Guiseley AFC.

He has also played at Northern Premier League level for Shaw Lane, Goole AFC and Frickley Athletic.

Striker Carroll, who is a Handsworth Parramore youth graduate, has plenty of NCEL pedigree with spells at Maltby Main and Hemsworth Miners Welfare.

Wilson is also a striker who joins from Handsworth.

The pacey 19-year-old spent time with Sheffield FC before playing in the NCEL with Rossington Main at the end of the 2018/19 season where he chipped in with some important goals to help them stave off relegation.

Davies is another attacker who numbers Liversedge, Worksop Town and Frickley.

Foster has lots of experience playing at non-League level.

The 38-year-old midfielder can count Sheffield FC Ilkeston Town, Eastwood Town, Halifax Town, Matlock Town, Grantham Town, Goole AFC, Buxton and Boston United and Rossington Main amongst his previous clubs.

Midfielder Royles numbers Worksop Town, Rainworth Miners Welfare, Garforth Town, Maltby Main, Clipstone and Stocksbridge Park Steels as his previous clubs.
