Robinson (pictured) joins from league rivals Seaham Red Star where he wore the captain`s armband
after arriving from Newcastle Benfield in March of 2019.
Prior
to his move to Benfield, Robinson captained Blyth AFC to the Second Division
title as captain, playing almost every game for the Braves, who sadly dissolved
in 2018.
The
central midfielder is a great leader and having a strong presence in the middle
of the pitch.
Robinson
follows former Seaham team-mates Anthony Myers and earlier recruit, Dan Wilson,
in moving to the Robins.
Myers
is a defender who made 36 appearances for Seaham and netted 3 goals in his two-year
spell at Seaham.
Myers
has also turned out for Hebburn Town and being a long-serving player at Jarrow
Roofing where he picked up a number of awards including player of the year and players’
player in 2014.
The
versatile defender can also play in the centre of midfield and is very
commanding, great in the air, a great passer of the ball and strong in the
tackle.
