The 28-year-old popular and versatile player, who can operate in defence or midfield, was with the Longmead outfit for nearly three seasons making 128 appearances until February 2017 when he subsequently joined Bostik North Grays Athletic, turning out on 42 occasions last season for the Essex outfit.
Angels boss Steve McKimm told the club`s website: “James’s circumstances have changed, and I welcome him back with open arms following his earlier achievements for the club.”
Forward Joel Nouble (pictured), 22, has also agreed terms to join Tonbridge for the upcoming season.
The 22-year-old former Thurrock player, who stands 6`3”, started his career as a youth at Chelsea moving to Millwall and then signing for Dagenham & Redbridge.
Various loan spells followed, including at Grays Athletic and Bishop`s Stortford.
Last season he turned out for Thurrock on forty-one occasions, becoming a free agent following the unfortunate demise of the Essex outfit.
McKimm added: “I’m very pleased to have obtained the services of Joel and I welcome him to Longmead. He can play wide or through the middle and his presence will bring bite to our attack”. |
