Reynolds Signs Seven new Moles
Scott Reynolds, manager of Evo-Stik Southern League East club Aylesbury FC, has announced his first batch of signings ahead of the 2018/19 season.

As well as a number of returning players there are also some experienced new signings.

 

Nick Bennion, Luke Cray, Jordan Jenkins, Matt Hall, Carl Tappin, Ryan Ware and Aaron King have

 

Bennion is an experienced goalkeeper who was with Spartan South Midlands League sides Buckingham Athletic and Southall last season.

 

Tall, commanding, his other former clubs include Ardley United, Thame United, St Ives Town, King`s Lynn, Kettering Town, Aylesbury United, Corby Town, Marlow, Winslow United and Rugby Town.

 

Cray is an experienced 25-year-old defender, who is comfortable anywhere across the back line.

 

A natural leader and former skipper of Banbury United and, more recently Ardley United, he started his career with Northampton Town and also played for Wellingborough Town in the United Counties League.

 

Jenkins is a centre-back who returns for a third spell with the Moles, re-joining from Winslow United.

 

A no-nonsense defender but also very comfortable in possession, he is a local lad whose other previous clubs include Aston Clinton, Leighton Town and Thame Rangers.

 

Hall begins his second spell with the club, making the switch from Leighton.

 

A quick and physical left-back and a real character on and off the pitch, he has also worn the colours of Arlesey Town and Thame United.

 

Tappin is a skilful central midfielder who reads the game well and does the simple thing on a consistent basis.

 

Has played in the Southern League Premier with Banbury United, but also had a very successful 2017/18 season with Reynolds at Leighton.

 

He has also turned out for Ardley and Stony Stratford Town.

 

This will be Ryan Ware’s first full season is the UK for a number of years.

 

Former Cleveland Royals Scholar and Cambridge City player, he can play in a number of attacking positions.

 

King is a forward who spent last season with Winslow and scored 38 goals in 37 games.

 

Former Rushden & Diamonds and Liverpool professional, he is a class act whose non-League career include Southern League experience at AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Daventry Town, Woodford United and Kettering Town.

 

His other former clubs include Barton Rovers, Buckingham Athletic, Rugby Town and Bedford Town.
