Heather St Johns Appoint New Manager
Midland League Premier Division club Heather St Johns have announced the appointment of Dave Stringer as their new manager.

Stringer helped out at league rivals Highgate United last season as assistant to Russell Dodd – the pair having worked together at Nuneaton Griff.

 

As a player, Stringer had spells withe was with Valley between 1999 and 2001 making 38 appearances with other spells as a player with Nuneaton Borough, Atherstone United, Bedworth, Bolehall Swifts, Racing Club Warwick, Barwell and Rugby Town, who he went on to manage on a couple of occasions

 

Stringer's first spell at Butlin Road from 2011 to 2015 saw two runners-up finishes in the Southern League Division One Central before he left the club spending two seasons with Chasetown in the Northern Premier League First Division South.

 

The second spell came after Valley were relegated to the Midland League Premier Division in 2017 and he led the team to a sixth-place finish before the club parted company at the end of the season.

 

Stringer has also managed Shepshed Dynamo and Coalville Town.
