The 23-year-old striker arrives from Hyde United where he won promotion to the NPL Premier Division last season.

The 6`3” frontman was plucked from Hallmark Security League side Winsford United as a teenager to sign for Halifax Town and has also had spells with Marine AFC and Prescot Cables before helping Hyde achieve a place in the Premier Division last term.

Rams boss Mark Fell told http://www.rammyunited.co.uk: “We’re still actively recruiting and are very close to at least one other major signing. Dom has fantastic attributes and has scored goals at this level and above, we’ve been without a real pacey number 9 for a while now and in Dom we think we’ve found the answer. He’s very professional in his approach and dedicated, he needs to settle at a club and get his head down, we think he’s going to be a great addition”.
