Two New Seasiders

Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division club FC Clacton have brought in two new players ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Forward Anthony Spyrou and midfielder Charlie Durling have both checked into the Seasiders.

Spyrou (pictured) was part of the Norwich City under-18 team which reached the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals in 2018.

After a short loan stint with Wrexham at the end of the 2018/19 season, the forward returned to the Vanarama National League and made 5 appearances on loan for Chesterfield.

After three years as a professional at Norwich, he was released in January 2020 and signed for neighbours and Clacton`s league ruvals Holland FC.

Durling was previously with Isthmian League Premier Division outfit Brightlingsea Regent before going to university.

He joins the Seasiders from Essex & Suffolk Border League side Great Bentley.
