The 21-year-old had a loan spell with the White Tigers in 2016/17, making 4 appearances, as well as with Hartlepool United, where he played 7 times, and now returns to Treyew Road on a permanent basis having departed Linfield recently.

He progressed through the ranks at Plymouth to sign a professional contract in the summer of 2015 and he went on to score 2 goals on his first-team debut for the Pilgrims but was eventually released at the end of the 2016/17 campaign after making three more appearances.

The Northern Ireland under-19 and under-21 international then linked up with Irish side Linfield, where he scored an 8-minute hat-trick after coming on as a sub on his debut in a 6-0 home win against Lisburn Distillery in August 2017.

Made what turned out to be his final Linfield appearance as a sub in the 4-3 home Europa League play-off semi-final defeat by Glentoran on May 9th.
