Scott suffered an almost-fatal injury playing for Slough Town against Basingstoke Town in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division.
In a horrific collision, Scott suffered shattered vertebrae and his football future was very much in doubt.
But, thanks to some superb treatment and the PFA`s help with psychiatric help, Scott was able to start training again and Bracknell have given him the opportunity to play again at a decent level.
Scott joined Slough in the summer of 2015 from Oxford City and quickly established himself as number one.
Previously with Aldershot Town, Swindon Town and Salisbury City, the 27-year-old was rated one of the best keepers in the league prior to his injury.
Scott took to Twitter to thank his former club: “Want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved at @sloughtownfc and @SloughTownST the support over the last 3 years has been immense. The amount of positive and caring messages about my injury last year was incredible and will be something me and my family will never forget.”
Bracknell have also signed striker Mitch Parker from former Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division rivals Highmoor-Ibis.
Parker netted 26 goals last season and also had a short spell with Flackwell Heath.
