McKenzie, who turned 26 on Wednesday, was on the books at league rivals Folkestone Invicta when lockdown occurred, having moved to the Kent coast in December 2019.

He had been with another Isthmian Premier outfit, Leatherhead, only since November when he moved to Invicta after being with Vanarama National League South side Tonbridge Angels.

He joined Angels in January 2019 from then-Isthmian Premier rivals Haringey Borough where he was part of the successful squad that reached the First Round of the 2018/19 Emirates FA Cup.

A genuine handful for defenders due to his range of movement, the free-scoring striker has also been on the books of Maidenhead United, Romford, Phoenix Sports, Redbridge, Ilford, Waltham Forest, Aveley, Harlow Town and Bromley.
