Lee
and Machin are given the task of re-building the squad after the club took the
decision to revert back into Step 7 football for the 2020/21 season.
With
training already started, the management team are also joined by local lad,
Lewis England, who joins the clubs backroom staff.
Lee
joins from the recently folded ASHA FC where he created a reserve team before
being promoted into first-team management to lead the club to their first cup
success in 2018/19 where he also guided them to a runners-up finish in the
Midlands and Notts Alliance.
Lee
also took ASHA to the Derbyshire Junior Cup final last season, only for the
game to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
Machin
has outstanding pedigree after holding coaching and assistant manager roles at
Linby Colliery, Blidworth Miners Welfare and Rainworth Miners Welfare in Steps
6 and 7 of the football Pyramid.
England
knows what it’s like to be a part of the club after winning the reserve league
with South Normanton just a few years ago. |
