Former
Grove midfielder Kyle Diskin has been brought back to the club after leaving in
November 2019 to join North West Counties League Premier Division side
Congleton Town.
Before
his departure at the back end of 2019, he made 12 appearances scoring 2 goals
against Market Drayton Town and Lincoln United.
Dundas (pictured) said: "I had him at Norton United and he was tremendous for me there and,
he is developing into a really good ball playing midfielder, so I'm looking
forward to working with him again."
Furthermore,
Kidsgrove have recruited Callum and Jake Lovatt, both of whom were managed by
Dundas during his time at league rivals Chasetown.
When
discussing the signing of both of his former players, Dundas said: “Jake is a
natural goalscorer, I had him at Newcastle Town and took him to Chasetown.
"He
scored a few for us there, but unfortunately, he ruptured his ACL, so he hasn't
done anything for 18 months.
"He
had a couple of games towards the end of last season, but now he is back and is
a good striker. He works hard for the team, he works hard for whoever he is
partnering up front, so I'm looking forward to getting him back on the pitch.
"Callum
is a robust centre midfielder, he loves a tackle. Unfortunately, he got injured
halfway through last season.
"He
had an ankle injury and, he has still not quite recovered. He is waiting on an
MRI scan and then he can resume full training.
"He
is one of those players you need in your squad. Callum will put his foot in
when it needs to be put in and, he will put his head in when it needs to be put
in as well. So, he's just a very competitive midfielder."
Also,
right back Will Byers has been brought in from NWCL Division One South outfit
Stone Old Alleynians alongside left back Ricky Bridge - a player who Dundas had
in his ranks while in charge of both Newcastle Town and Chasetown.
Bridge
also played for Kidsgrove before joining Leek Town in 2011.
Dundas
said: “Will is a lad I have had from Stone Old Alleynians. I watched him in a
couple of games last season, he did well, and he is a good attacking right
back.
“I
had Ricky at Newcastle and, I took him to Chasetown. But the travelling was a
little bit too much for him and, he ended up at Congleton. So, I'm glad to get
him back with us losing Alex Morris”.
