The
25-year-old forward arrives at Plantation Park after making a name for himself
in the Anglian Combination, although he wasn’t always an outfield player.
He
told the club`s website: “I played as a goalkeeper throughout my youth career
mainly for Hellesdon and a season at Old Catton. I decided to hang the gloves
up and play as striker (when) going into men’s football. I played up through
the leagues in the Anglian Combination for a couple of teams, before playing for
Hellesdon for the last four seasons.”
Those
last four seasons saw the forward notch 46 goals in 118 league starts, despite
playing mostly as a winger, and he helped spearhead Hellesdon’s promotion push
in the 2016/17 season. |
