Midfielder
Lewis Hayden (pictured) arrives from Southern Division One Central side Didcot Town.
The
24-year-old joined Didcot in 2017/18 having previously been at Aylesbury (now
Aylesbury Vale Dynamos).
He
started his career at Oxford United before having spells at Banbury United and
Farnborough.
A
talented midfielder who usually operates in a defensive role, he was named the
Railwaymen`s young player of the year for 2017/18.
Defender
Daryl Wollers has also signed for Basingstoke.
The
strong left-sided central defender who is equally adept at left-back joins from
Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier side Alresford Town.
Wollers
started out in the Southern Combination League with Littlehampton Town.
He
stepped up to join then-Isthmian League Division One South side Bognor Regis
Town at the beginning of season 2011/12 and made an immediate impact despite
his young age.
Unfortunately,
he missed a lot of football through a serious injury but came back to win the supporters`
player of the year award for the 2013/14 season.
He
moved on to Pagham before joining Alfresford in 2018. |
