Vanarama National League South club Chelmsford City have announced the signing of striker Adam Liddle.

The 20-year-old joins after a spell at League of Ireland side Derry City, leaving when the season was put on hold due to COVID-19.

 

A highlight of this spell was a stoppage time equaliser against Finn Harps.

 

His footballing education came through the academy at Reading, making numerous appearances for the Royals` under-18 and under-23 sides.

 

He also has National League South experience having spent a loan spell at Eastbourne Borough between November 2018 and January 2019.

 

Clarets boss Robbie Simpson told https://www.chelmsfordcityfc.com: “Adam will be a big hit with the Clarets fans. He works his absolute socks off. He’s got really good sharp movement and can score all types of goals. I’m really looking forward to seeing him pull on that claret jersey!”
