North West Counties League Premier Division club Hanley Town have announced the signing of British Virgin Islands international Ben Chapman.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper joins from Northern Premier League Division One South East neighbours Leek Town.

 

Chapman, formerly with Nantwich Town, Newcastle Town and Kidsgrove Athletic, will add experience in between the sticks to help the club`s ambitions for the season.

 

Manager Mick Morton told the club`s media team: “I am happy to get Chaps at the club. He’s an experienced keeper who adds to the spine of the team where we’re trying to build the team around”.
