And
manager Steve Castle has bolstered an already strong squad with the additions
of striker Jonny Edwards and midfielder or forward Isaac Galliford.
Edwards
is a 23-year-old who arrives at Garden Walk from league rivals and neighbours
Biggleswade Town.
He
had been with the Waders since January 2020 after joining from National League
South side Maidstone United.
He
had moved to the Stones in June 2019 from former National League rivals FC
Halifax Town having been with the Shaymen since the summer of 2018 after being
released from Hull City.
Luton-born,
he started his career with Stevenage before signing his first professional
contract with Peterborough United.
He
had loan spells with Bishop’s Stortford, Biggleswade, Ilkeston and St Albans
City before joining Dunstable Town in 2016.
Hull
gave him a one-year contract following a successful trail with their under-21
squad and he had loan spells with Accrington Stanley and Woking during his time
at the KC Stadium.
Galliford (pictured) is a left-sided attacking midfielder of forward who joins the Crows from
National League South outfit Hemel Hempstead Town.
The
23-year-old signed for Hemel from Royston`s league rivals Hitchin Town in June
2019.
He
began his career at Luton Town, signing a pro contract with the Hatters as an
18-year-old in June 2015.
He
made 3 appearances for Hitchin in 2014/15 whilst on loan from the Hatters and
played college football for Butler Bulldogs in the USA during 2016 and 2017.
He
also played for St Neots Town whilst on loan from the Hatters.
He
signed for Hitchin on a permanent basis in the summer of 2018 and scored 16
goals in 53 games in 2018/19 – form which earned him a move up the non-League
Pyramid.
