Chipping Sodbury Add Seven New Players to Squad
Toolstation Western League Premier Division club Chipping Sodbury Town have made several new signings ahead of the 2020/21 season.

The most experienced of the new recruits is 26-year-old Darren Jefferies.

 

The midfielder joined Southern League Division One South side Highworth Town in the summer of 2018 from Frome Town.

 

A very technical player, he made almost 150 appearances for Frome in two spells, separated by periods spent with Chippenham Town, Paulton Rovers and Larkhall Athletic.

 

Also arriving from Highworth is box-to-box midfielder Jordan Roberts who also possesses loads of experience.

 

He’s had spells at Swindon Supermarine, Chippenham Town and Royal Wootton Bassett Town.

 

Jonah Beer is a hardworking midfielder who has loads of energy.

 

He was also previously with Highworth Town where he progressed through the ranks.

 

Josh Coombe, who can play as a full-back or a striker, arrives via Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Royal Wootton Bassett Town.

 

He has also had spells with Highworth.

 

Ellis McSharry (pictured) is a young defender who is yet another to have previously played for Highworth when they were in the Hellenic League.

 

He is currently part through a scholarship with Wilmington Wildcats in the United States.

 

Luke Johnson is a midfielder who played at Bristol Rovers as a youngster and was more recently with Southern League Division One South outfit Frome Town.

 

Jordan Clark is a young player who can play as a wide midfielder or striker.

 

He previously played for Highworth in both the Southern and Hellenic League.
