Rhyl FC Chairman Paul Higginson said “The range of experience, capability and character of each of the members of the new football management team makes it clear that we are absolutely committed to building Rhyl FC into a formidable Club capable of returning to the top tier of Welsh football and capable of winning top honours”.

Eddie Maurice-Jones will lead the management and coaching team, joining Rhyl from Denbigh Town following one of the most successful seasons in Denbigh's history. Eddie Maurice-Jones will take on the role of Director of Football with Rhyl Football Club.

Eddie has previously managed Gresford winning the Wrexham Area National League and then achieving a 6th place finish in the Huws Gray Alliance. He moved on to Denbigh Town in November 2016, initially steading the ship after taking over a side in the relegation places with only 2 wins from the first 13 games, before finishing 10th in the table. This work set the foundations for the following season with Denbigh Town securing a runners-up finish last season finishing 5 points behind eventual winners Caernarfon Town.
