The new management team had this to say when asked how it feels to take the helm:
“It’s a fantastic feeling, but our focus now is pushing on and getting the wheels in motion - getting the lads signed on and training as soon as possible.” said Field.
Turner then commented “We want the lads coming in to feel part of something. We’ve always said this is a family, a community club - and it’s important to get the players to understand that.”
We then asked the duo to comment on the club’s ambitions for the coming season, to which Turner had this to say:
“We have to aim to finish as high as possible, it’s that simple - we’re hoping for at least mid-table. We’re also going to be working very closely with the newly appointed director of football - Dave Fuller - the academy coaches and the club’s young talent.”
Club director Tony O’Reilly said “We are pleased that Leon and Ryan have agreed to take on this role with the Seasiders. They know what Prestatyn Town is about and they have the full confidence and backing of the directors and members of the club. We wish them all the success for the season ahead and we’re sure the fans will join us in supporting them
