The
Bassett boss has retained the services of a pair of key attacking players in
the form of the tricky Mark Francis and the powerful TJ Bohane.
In
addition to those options, Collier has also secured the signature of Alex
Dinsmore, who joins his home-town club.
Francis
finished as Bassett's second top scorer in 2019/20 with 8 goals in 14
appearances.
Boasting
pace, skill and an eye for goal, Collier will be hoping of more of the same
from a player with plenty of experience at a higher level – which includes a
couple of appearances for Swindon Town.
Bohane (pictured),
who scored 20 goals in Bassett colours two seasons ago, was limited by injuries
last year, but still managed to find the net 6 times in 14 appearances.
Back
to fitness this year, he will provide vital strength and experience in the
final third.
Dinsmore,
meanwhile, is a former Cheltenham Town scholar. In recent years he has spent
time playing for Loughborough University in the United Counties League and has
also previously made a handful of appearances for Cirencester Town in the 2015/16
and 2016/17 seasons.
Experience
has been added in other areas of the pitch too.
The
backline has been strengthened by the addition of Jon Beeden on a permanent
basis.
Last
season the powerful defender split time between Chippenham Town, Thatcham Town
and Bassett.
Classy
midfielder Chris Taylor has also been added.
Taylor
has spent the majority of his career with Swindon Supermarine but has also
featured for Cirencester and, most recently, Highworth Town.
He
also made four substitute appearances for Swindon Town at the start of his
career. |
