Born
in Birmingham, Maycock was given his first-team opportunity by Coventry City
after initially joining the new SkyBet Championship club as an apprentice in
2014.
The
22-year-old made his professional debut for the Sky Blues in November 2016,
coming on as a sub in a 1-1 FA Cup draw with Morecambe.
He
played 32 times whilst on loan at League Two side Macclesfield Town in 2018/19,
before playing regularly for Leamington on loan in the National League North
last season.
Maycock
departed Coventry last month following the expiry of his contract, with 12
senior appearances to his name.
