The 38-year-old retired in 2016 after spending three years with Thai Premier League outfit TOT SC.

Originally with Walton & Hersham as a youngster, he was signed by Reading in 2002 but his time with the Royals was spoiled by injury and he played just 16 games in three years as well as having loan spells with Wycombe Wanderers and Bury.

He left for Bristol City in 2005 and made 23 appearances for the Robins, finally notching his first senior goal against Scunthorpe United.

Nine goals and 36 appearances with Brighton & Hove Albion followed and a short spell with Millwall preceded a good two-year stint at Tranmere Rovers, where he made 55 appearances and scored 9 times.

He moved on to Dagenham & Redbridge and Northampton Town before moving to Thailand in 2012.
