Witton Albion have re-signed forward Steven Tames from Northern Premier League Premier Division rivals Ashton United.

 The 28-year-old was a June 2019 signing for Ashton from Cymru Premier side Bala Town having joined Bala in July 2018 from Witton.

 

The centre-forward is known for his prolific goalscoring record of 49 goals in 90 appearances for Albion.

 

Hailing from Liverpool, he started out at Prescot Cables and has various stints at Southport, Hyde United, Vauxhall Motors, Warrington Town and Stalybridge Celtic before joining originally signing for Witton in October 2016.
