Dexter
Walters, who left The Lambs to join Coventry City two years ago, has re-joined
the club and he has been swiftly followed by the arrival of defender Jordan
Cullinane-Liburd from Vanarama National League North side Hereford FC.
Walters (pictured) is a winger with plenty of pace. He originally signed for the Lambs from
Romulus in August 2017, having been part of their scholarship programme.
He
played the majority of his games for the Lambs in the club’s under-19 and under-21
sides and was on the fringes of the Tamworth first team making 4 appearances.
The
then-manager Mike Fowler made him one of his first signings for the 2018/19
season. However, a string of impressive pre-season performances caught the
attention of Coventry City who signed him on a two-year contract in August
2018.
He
was a regular in City’s under-23 side and made his debut in an EFL Trophy game
against Forest Green Rovers.
He
spent a period on loan at National League North outfit Leamington last season
where he made 14 appearances before returning to Coventry, who released him at
the end of his contract.
Cullinane-Liburd
is a 25-year-old, tall, commanding centre-back who can also play anywhere
across the defensive line.
He
Hereford midway through their record breaking 2017/18 Southern Premier Division
South title-winning season.
The
versatile defender has experience at several non-League clubs including
Solihull Moors, Redditch United, Alvechurch and Stratford Town.
